Thanks to 2025 for teaching us a lot 🌧🌸 2025 was the year this little dream got real. We faced hail, infestations, leaks, collapses, sore bodies and tired eyes… and still kept showing up to plant, weed, water, and hope. In between the chaos were armfuls of flowers, belly laughs, rescue-animal shenanigans, and those quiet “this is why we’re doing it” moments in the field. If you love real, messy-beautiful farm life, cut flowers grown with heart, and cheering on small local growers as they figure it out in public, you’re in the right place. Follow along as we grow the world’s most magical cut flower varieties in 2026 — and, of course, keep messing up along the way. 🌱 Watch this little farm grow. 🌸 Follow the GoFloralCo journey. Highlights from our first full year on the flower farm in 2025! We’ve spent the start of 2026 thinking, plotting, daydreaming, sowing and transplanting as well as a tidying up on the farm and prepping beds, new and old! We’ve doubled our growing space for flowers since last year and new beds are already filled with hardy annuals which makes me impatient for the Spring to arrive in earnest. I’d love to think that we’re in our stride now, but I’m learning that in farming you surrender to what the seasons bring and the lessons change along the way. We are welcoming a new beginning as the blossom arrives; all I know for definite is that I’m so excited to spend another year out in this space growing beautiful flowers for you all.

✨ DISCLAIMER ✨ My 10 year old made this reel — and I kinda love it 😆. I was finishing up some crop planning sheets and getting ready to make today’s post when he said he could make it…so I rolled with it. He nailed it - winter is long hours at the computer planning crops, budgeting, etc, but so very worth what comes in May and all through October! Flower Farming • Bouquets • Local

After a few months of being a little quiet over here… I’m back The truth is I’ve been soaking up newborn life and adjusting to a new rhythm on the farm. This year I’m starting thousands of flower seeds with a baby by my side, which feels a little chaotic… but also really special. Every tiny seed eventually turns into the abundance of flowers you see blooming here, and it reminds me every year why it’s worth the work. If you love flowers, gardening, or following along with life on a small flower farm, I’d love to have you here. This season is going to be a fun one to share 🤍 Follow along as we grow another season of flowers at Flynn House Farm. Who else is starting seeds this season? #localflowers

We are counting down the days until the next flower season begins 🤍 There’s something so special about starting fresh—new seeds, new blooms, and another year of growing beauty right here on our farm. Every stem you see in this reel was grown with intention, care, and so much love. After months of planning, dreaming, and preparing behind the scenes, we are beyond excited to get our hands back in the soil and watch it all come to life again. This season holds so much promise, and we can’t wait to share every moment and every bloom with you 🌸 Here’s to longer days, full fields, and flowers in abundance ✨

Autumn on the farm 🍁 Lots of jobs on the go at the moment, we are switching between tidying up old crops, labelling dahlias, sowing thousands of spring seeds, harvesting zinnia seeds, and still picking what flowers we do have left 🌼 Labelling the dahlias is tedious and time consuming but it must be done 💪 splitting the huge tasks like this into small chunks each week helps us avoid the overwhelm 😅

Our first year growing ranunculus on the flower farm… and honestly, I was a little intimidated—do you love or grow ranunculus? The corms are expensive and everyone says they can be a bit persnickety. But we soaked them, tucked them into shallow trays of soil, and kept them in a cool, dark room while we watched the moisture carefully over the next few weeks. Then the magic happened — nearly 100% germination. 🌱 Of course, life on the farm got busy and I didn’t check on them for a little while. When I finally did, they had taken off. They were suddenly huge and a bit lanky and I was convinced I had waited too long… but we planted them out anyway and hoped for the best. We set up hoops and covered the entire bed with frost cloth… which promptly blew off twice during our windy coastal winter storms. Farming keeps you humble. Then we left for a trip to India. When we came back, the entire bed was bursting with blooms and ready to harvest — hundreds of layers of petals, every stem worth the worry. Sometimes you just have to trust the process. 🌸 #ranunculus #flowerfarm #flowerfarming #cutflowergarden #cutflowers slowflowers flowerfarmer growingflowers gardenlife farmlife seasonalflowers springflowers flowergrower flowerlovers fromthegarden smallfarm flowerharvest fieldgrown coastalfarm farmstories

When my husband almost died in a workplace accident, we knew it was time to make some big changes. We sold our home and moved upstate to start the flower farm I joked about for years. It was scary and isolating and the best decision we've ever made. Our UPick flower fields open for the season soon 🧡✨️
