I sincerely hope our Philippine leaders can momentarily set aside political rivalries and redirect their focus to what truly matters โ€” the safety and welfare of our Filipino OFWs. While debates dominate headlines and personal ambitions quietly shape agendas, thousands of our fellow Filipinos abroad face uncertainty, fear, and risks far greater than any political contest at home. They are not statistics. They are mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters who left the country not for comfort, but for sacrifice. Leadership is not measured by who wins the loudest argument but by who responds first when citizens are in danger. At a time when our OFWs may be counting the hours in unfamiliar lands, hoping their government remembers them, it would be reassuring to see unity replace division, urgency replace indifference, and public service rise above personal interest. Public office was never meant to be a stage for pride but it is a responsibility to protect. May compassion move faster than politics.๏ฟฝAnd may action speak louder than ambition. Because while some leaders calculate their next move, our OFWs are simply praying for a safe way home. #PrayForThePhilippines #PrayfortheFilipinos #PrayForMiddleEast #prayforpeace #prayerchangesthings #prayerispowerful
