Sunset Pier 94 Studios is a 232,000-square-foot campus with leasable stages, production support space and offices that will serve as the filming location for ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Season 2. "Paramount is coming here and they're super excited to be taking down a large portion of this facility," Hudson Pacific Properties chairman and CEO Victor Coleman said. The studio project will create about 400 new jobs and contribute to $6.4 billion in the economy over the next 30 years. Northwestern New Jersey is getting the star treatment after Happy Gilmore 2 was filmed in parts of Warren and Morris counties, and a Friday the 13th prequel is set to start shooting in Blairstown, the same spot where the original Friday the 13th was shot more than 45 years ago. It started with a visit from film scouts for Happy Gilmore 2. "It kind of was a surprise to us," said Steve Linz, owner of Farmview Golf Center. Linz learned his site in Washington Township, Morris County was being considered as a filming location. Then he got the call -- Adam Sandler wanted his golf course. "I was actually very shocked. I didn't think it was going to happen. They were here a week from start to finish, there's just an awful lot that goes on that I learned behind the scenes," Linz told us. A photo with Sandler is proudly on display in the main office. "He was a down-to-earth guy and I thought he was very nice to his fans. Just like one of the boys," Linz said.
