There’s no denying that millennials got handed a terrible hand financially.
That’s why the advice from our boomer & Gen X parents isn’t working for us!
During our lifetime we have experienced more financial instability than any other generation.
We need multiple jobs & side hustles to survive while our parents could buy a home & raise a family on ONE MODEST INCOME.
It’s no wonder we are looking for ways to opt out of capitalism ASAP.
It’s no wonder more of us are considering not having children, moving abroad, and minimalism.
Even though we are the most educated generation we are financially lagging behind compared to older generations. The pandemic only exacerbated this.
We are left with imperfect solutions & half-measures.
We are on our own.
If you are in a position where you can take advantage of a rigged stock market & IRS code favoring investors, I say DO IT! It’s one of the few ways we have left to try to close this gap.
