The U.S. Department of Labor’s VETS program is funding Stand Down Events which are community events that provide:
✨ Hot meals
✨ Clothing & essential supplies
✨ Employment & workforce support
✨ Health + wellness services
✨ Benefits assistance
✨ Resources for veterans at risk of homelessness
These events often become the turning point that helps a veteran stabilize and step back into the workforce.
💰 Funding Available
• Up to $7,000 for 1-day events
• Up to $10,000 for multi-day events
• Up to $50,000 in federally declared disaster areas
This grant is: Noncompetitive + first-come, first-served.
