MICORRECT FOREHAND - RACQUET DROP PROBLEM & FIX! 👌
Very common issue on the forehand is related to no proper use of swing leverage, lack of racquet drop and opening of the wrist.
Here I share the one potential problem and the solution:
❌ There is no full use of swing leverage power position because pulling action happens before the racquet drop which results in lack of racquet lag and whip. Also the racquet gets to the lower part of the swing when on the way to hitting the ball. The outcome is forehand with low control, acceleration and power.
✅ Full leverage is achieved in proper power position where racquet drop happens first and it’s followed by pulling action. This creates proper racquet “lag” and whip. The lowest position of the racquet pathway is right after the drop, at the furthest position (back) of the swing. This results in proper low to high swing, good acceleration and effortless power.
