Information using data is powerful. Get @reshare_app • @jason_cassity 📈📊 Breakdown of the brokerage efficiency/productivity rankings. Honestly, respect to ReMax and Compass. We have some work to do to catch you 🫡. Couple of notes: -Berkshire Hathaway was not left off purposely, you guys just report so differently that I couldn’t find your numbers. -Many of these brokerages aren’t publicly traded, so we’re just going off of their own press releases for numbers. -LPT numbers were from 2024, nothing out for 2025 yet that I could find. **The methodology that investors use is to take the final transaction count and divide it by the agent count at the mid point of the year. So that’s what I did here. Since taking just the total sides / total agents wouldn’t account for the agents who joined in Q4 but hadn’t closed a deals yet.

RE/MAX is number one on this chart at 10.29 transaction sides per agent. But before you screenshot this and send it to your RE/MAX recruiter, let me explain what that number actually means. RE/MAX runs one of the highest desk fee models in the industry. You pay whether you close or not. So the agents who cannot produce leave fast. What remains is a highly filtered roster of closers. The number looks incredible. It is not a culture that builds agents. It is a culture that culls them. Now look at the rest of the chart. Anywhere — the company that owns Coldwell Banker, Century 21, and Sotheby’s — came in at 3.69. Fathom at 3.15. LPT Realty at 2.42. eXp at 5.3. Keller Williams at 6.33. The biggest brands in real estate are carrying the most unproductive agents on the roster while collecting splits and telling everyone they are the best company to hang your license at. And then there is Real Brokerage sitting at 6.61. Right behind Compass at 6.77. Outproducing eXp by 25 percent. Nearly doubling the entire Anywhere empire on a per-agent productivity basis. Without high desk fees. Without a model designed to cull agents just to inflate a number. This is what happens when a brokerage builds infrastructure for productive agents instead of just recruiting warm bodies to hit a headcount milestone. The traditional agent is sitting at a brand that is statistically underperforming, paying a split to a logo that is not making them more productive, and attending meetings that are not moving their business forward. The Agent Infopreneur chose infrastructure that supports leverage. Low splits. Revenue share. A model built to compound. Not a model built to look impressive in a bar chart while the average agent barely closes five deals a year. The brokerage does not build your business. You do. Choose accordingly. In every market, there are plenty of agents still making money and having steady, predictable closings. We’re currently the #5 RE/MAX team in the county and #10 in the world, and our agents are averaging 40+ leads a month and closing between $10–20 million a year. It's not because market conditions are perfect. It's because the structure is. After year two or three, this business stops being about effort alone. You can work hard and still feel inconsistent.
