On today’s episode of books that are definitely worth more than just an email, enter: Open to Work, by @linkedin’s CEO and Chief Economic Opportunity Officer What happens when you take the two most qualified professionals to predict how jobs will evolve in the AI era, and get them to spill everything they know on this topic? This book. These aren’t thought leaders speculating from the sidelines. This is the CEO of the platform sitting on top of a billion professional profiles, real-time hiring data, and the actual skills trends shaping the global labor market - telling you exactly what they’re seeing, right now, and what it means for your career. Most AI career advice right now is either fear-mongering or generic platitudes. This book is neither. It’s specific. It’s grounded in data most people will never have access to. And it makes an argument I’ve been waiting for someone with this level of authority to make: the career ladder is dead, and what’s replacing it has the potential to be much better. If you’d like to pre-order your copy and make sense of what AI means for your career, comment OPEN and I’ll send you the deets. #OpenToWorkBook #LinkedInPartner #bookrecommendations #futureofwork #aijobs

Microsoft Research published something this month that didn’t get the attention it deserved. They built a benchmark called DELEGATE-52 to test whether AI can actually do the work people are being told to delegate to it: editing documents, splitting files, sorting data, restructuring reports. If AI can’t edit those reliably, it can’t replace the people who do. And that sits at the core of every knowledge work. They tested 19 of the best models — Claude 4.6 Opus, Gemini 3.1 Pro, GPT-5.4, and 16 others — across 52 professional domains. After 20 edits, even the best frontier models corrupted 25% of the document on average. Across all models, the average was 50%. But the scary part isn’t the number. It’s how the failures happen: not gradually, but in sudden, unpredictable cliffs. One round looks fine. The next round deletes a section. You can’t catch it by reading carefully. There’s exactly one domain where AI passed reliably: writing Python code. One out of 52. So the next time someone tells you AI agents are about to replace knowledge workers, send them this paper. 📄 Paper: LLMs Corrupt Your Documents When You Delegate (Microsoft Research, April 17 2026) #MicrosoftResearch #aiagents #futureofwork #airesearch

It started as a joke, but it highlights a real shift happening across the tech world. Roles in technology are changing faster than ever. A few years ago almost no one talked about “prompt engineers,” and now the conversation is already moving toward AI agents that can automate parts of traditional developer work. Even the joke about becoming a farmer points to something deeper. Some see it as burnout from constant change, while others think real-world, hands-on skills may become more valuable in an unpredictable digital economy. Career timelines are shrinking. Changes that once took a decade can now happen in a single year. If your job title kept evolving every 12 months, where do you think you’d end up by 2027? - - - - - Double Tap ♥️ & share/tag a friend Follow @theaipage to keep up! - - - - - #ArtificialIntelligence #FutureOfWork #AITechnology

Tesla just ended production of the Model S and Model X after 14 years. The factory space in Fremont, California isn’t sitting empty. It’s being converted into a full Optimus robot production line. Over 1,000 Gen 3 units are already inside Tesla’s factories, learning tasks by watching human workers. Not fully productive yet, but the data they’re collecting is what trains the next version. Target is 1 million robots a year from that same floor space. A Texas facility is being built on top of that, aiming for 10 million units annually by 2027. Elon Musk wants to sell them for under $30,000 each. Consumer sales are targeted for late 2027. Tesla didn’t pivot to robots. It replaced its past with them. ➕ Comment ‘BONUS’ and I’ll send you a free Beginners Guide + 350 Prompt Bible to Master AI 🦾 #optimusrobot #TeslaOptimus #robotrevolution #futureofwork #humanoidrobot

⚡ The speed of light is the ultimate circuit breaker for artificial intelligence, making a single, omnipotent God AI physically impossible. Because data can’t travel instantaneously, humanity is destined for a fragmented, localized AI future rather than a centralized one. Do you believe this physical limitation is the only thing keeping AI from total control? #AI #FutureOfWork #Technology #ElonMusk #Robotics

Leaked audio recently surfaced of Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, where he shares strong views on remote work, bureaucracy, and workplace efficiency. The comments sparked debate around leadership culture and modern work. Many argue that flexible and dynamic working models are not signs of weakness, and that productivity should not be measured by working seven days a week. The conversation highlights a broader shift happening across industries as companies rethink performance, culture, and what sustainable success actually looks like.

What happens when AI begins replacing high-income office jobs? Most people imagine automation starting with factory workers and physical labor. But the real disruption may arrive in white-collar industries first. AI systems are rapidly learning to perform complex tasks in fields such as finance, law, marketing, programming, and consulting - roles traditionally filled by highly educated professionals. These workers also form a major pillar of the modern economy. They hold mortgages, invest in markets, drive consumer spending, and carry significant amounts of credit. If large numbers of these jobs are automated or reduced, the ripple effects could extend far beyond employment, potentially impacting housing markets, financial institutions, and broader economic stability. For many economists, the biggest question is no longer whether AI will transform work but how quickly society can adapt to the economic shift it may create. Mark Cuban argues that America’s competitive advantage lies not in recreating the past, but in building the future. He emphasizes that tariffs alone cannot reverse globalization, noting that many manufacturing jobs were lost not just to trade, but to automation and increased efficiency. Businesses, he points out, will always pursue the most cost-effective production methods. Rather than focusing on nostalgia, Cuban advocates for prioritizing innovation. Fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, advanced technologies, and other high-skill industries represent the true drivers of long-term economic growth. His message is direct: compete forward, not backward. The key challenge is whether the nation can invest quickly and strategically enough in emerging technologies to lead the next wave of global innovation.
