Clinically, there’s almost always a warning phase first — and it shows up before the scale fully stalls. The 3 signs I see most often: 1️⃣ Appetite suppression is still there — but progress slows Hunger is low, portions are smaller… yet fat loss doesn’t match effort. That’s a signal that something outside appetite is limiting progress. 2️⃣ Energy, sleep, or stress tolerance shifts Poor sleep, early waking, higher stress reactivity, or feeling “wired but tired” → cortisol timing matters more than people realize here. 3️⃣ Metabolic signals start pushing back Blood sugar variability, low protein intake, muscle loss, thyroid conversion issues, or iron deficiency can all blunt results — even on GLP-1s.
