Google’s latest travel feature now lets you price track hotel prices! You can search a specific hotel on specific dates OR let Google know when and where you’re traveling to get a list of where to stay with price alerts.
Hotel price tracking on Search is definitely about to be one of my go-tos because who wants to keep checking??? Not me! That’s why I’m glad Google can do it for me, and then send alerts to let me know when the price drops.
As someone who travels on a budget and believes in the power of affordable luxury, this feels like it was made for me! #GiftFromGoogle
But that’s not all…a few other free travel planning from Google are some game changers that can’t believe I haven’t been using! I’ll save that for another day though 👀👀👀

I just got back from NYC with @google and learned so many ways to travel smarter using their new AI Mode in Search ✈️
From building custom itineraries, tracking hotel prices (yes, like flights), booking restaurants, live translating through your headphones in 70+ languages… and even having Google Maps talk you through things like where to park — it honestly feels like having a personal travel assistant.
As someone who’s always on the go, I’m so excited about all the ways Google is making traveling easier.

Google flew me and a few of your favorite travel creators out to their Summer Travel with Google event where we were taken behind the scenes of what’s coming and to learn what features travelers now have access to like this!
Google just launched 🚨hotel price tracking🚨🕺 and it works exactly like flight tracking in Google Flights ✈️ which means you can now monitor hotel prices and get emailed the moment they drop. 🥹💅🏻🥰
Here’s how it works:
1. Go to Google and search the hotel you want to book.
2. Select your travel dates.
3. Hit the toggle to track prices.
4. Google will email you when the price drops so you know the best time to book.
That’s it. No app download. No third party site. Free, and built directly into Google.
I’ve been a huge advocate for tracking flights in Google Flights to catch price drops before booking and now that same system exists for hotels!
Drop in the comments which hotel you’re about to start tracking — I want to be inspired by your picks and maybe track them myself.

hotel price tracking is here and if you are not using this immediately you are leaving money on the table!!
here’s exactly how to use it 👇
1. go to google hotels and search your destination (like @fouquets.newyork !)
2. find a property you want to stay at
3. toggle on price tracking the same way you would track a flight
4. you’ll get emails automatically if the price changes
two ways this actually saves you money:
💰if you haven’t booked yet, track the hotels on your wish list and wait for a drop before committing.
💰if you’ve already booked, this is the big one!! book your hotel, turn on tracking, and if the price drops you can rebook at the lower rate. most hotels allow free cancellation up to a few days before so there is literally no reason not to do this.
SEND this to whoever you are traveling with this summer. this is the kind of thing that keeps travel affordable and we are verrrrry much here for it.
