🔹 Class Matters: Class 1, 2, and 3 e-bikes have different speed limits and pedal-assist requirements.
🔹 Not All E-Bikes Are Bikes: Some high-powered models are legally classified as electric motorcycles and require registration, insurance, and a motorcycle endorsement to operate.
🔹 Helmet Safety: E-bikes and e-motorcycles can exceed speeds faster than 28 MPH. Protect yourself and wear a helmet at all times.
🔹Where to Ride: Not all e-bikes are allowed on sidewalks, trails, or roads. Know the rules for your specific model.
🎄 Lastly, make sure it’s the right fit for your rider and compliant with the law.

GIGilbert PD and Gilbert Fire proudly hosted the Spring 2025 Aspire Academy this past weekend! 🚔🚒
29 high-school-aged girls spent four days learning all about police and fire careers from women in the professions.
Activities included climbing a ladder truck, practicing mock traffic stops, CPR training, and demos from SWAT and K9s.
Not only did the class build lasting friendships, but they were empowered to overcome challenges and gain valuable skills as our future leaders.
