GISo *in love* with my next fabric line for @modafabrics called “Bee Garden”. Here’s a sneak peek at the whole collection.
Licensing my art with Moda literally changed my life. I remember it like yesterday: I, like so many artists, wanted desperately to see my designs on fabric. I put together I little portfolio of collections (spoiler alert: those collections were my first 3 and were rather rough). I began sending cold pitch emails, and crossed my fingers and toes that someone would see my work and want to bring it to life on fabric.
When I got a response email from Moda, I remember I was sitting in my living room, watching my son toddle around, and I literally had a “is this really happening to me?” moment. It didn’t take long at all for a call to be scheduled with Moda. And then, those sweet, life changing words: “We would love to create a fabric line with you”.
Fabric has become a huge part of what I create as an artist. And the collections I create for fabric I can also license to other non-fabric companies.
