As a vascular surgeon, I look for specific markers that tell me your "internal piping" is in pristine condition. Some of them might surprise you. The "Vascular Victory" Checklist. How many do you have? 1️⃣ Hairy Toes 🦶 Yes, really. Hair growth requires rich oxygenated blood. If your toes are hairy, your arterial flow is excellent. (Smooth, shiny toes are actually a sign of PAD!) 2️⃣ Visible Veins During Workouts 💪 This is called "vasodilation."
