BYBefore you reach for your phone in the morning, remember this.
The Prophet ﷺ said whoever wakes up and says:
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
then asks Allah for good, his sins are forgiven even if they are like the foam of the sea. If he makes dua, it is answered. And if he makes wudu and prays, his prayer is accepted.
All of this before you even leave your bed.
*Clarification: this hadith applies to whoever wakes up from sleep during the night, i.e. the early hours of the morning as mentioned in the video.
The point is that many of us wake up at that time and go straight to our phones, missing this opportunity.
Instead, say this dhikr first, then make dua.
