Danach ist es immer noch fast jeder zehnte – ebenso über den 1. und 2. Weihnachtstag. Die Branchen, in den am meisten über die Feiertage geschuftet wird, sind #Handel und Kfz-Betriebe, #Verkehr und #Logistik, Gesundheits- und #Sozialwesen sowie das #Gastgewerbe. Außerdem gibt es ein deutliches Gefälle zwischen #Ost und #West. So arbeiten zum Beispiel in #Bayern nur sechs Prozent der Erwerbstätigen am 1. oder 2. Weihnachtstag; in #Mecklenburg-Vorpommern sind es 16 bis 18 Prozent. Generell sei die Einsatzbereitschaft aber hoch, sagen die Forscher. „Die Zahlen illustrieren, dass die Erwerbstätigen und die #Arbeitszeiten in Deutschland sehr flexibel sind: Was erledigt werden muss, kann erledigt werden. Das gilt auch an Tagen, die die allermeisten Menschen lieber mit Familie oder Freunden verbringen als im Job“, sagt Bettina Kohlrausch, wissenschaftliche Direktorin des Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaftlichen Instituts (#WSI) der Hans-Böckler-Stiftung.

Desde sua morte, em 1759, sua música nunca deixou de ser executada e continua arrepiando plateias até hoje. 1️⃣ Zadok, the Priest (1727) * Composta para a coroação do rei George II da Inglaterra. * É executada em todas as coroações britânicas desde 1727. * Inspirou diretamente o famoso tema da Champions League. 2️⃣ Hallelujah Chorus – Messiah (1741) * Um dos coros mais reconhecíveis da história da música ocidental. * A tradição de o público ficar em pé durante a execução surgiu ainda no século XVIII. * É o 44º movimento do oratório, celebrando a vitória do Messias sobre a morte. 3️⃣ Water Music – Suítes * Escrita para ser tocada sobre barcos no rio Tâmisa, enquanto o rei George I navegava com a corte. * Pensada para espaços abertos: música clara, festiva e direta. * O rei gostou tanto que pediu para a música ser repetida várias vezes na mesma noite. * Hoje simboliza celebração, leveza e grandiosidade barroca. 4️⃣ Lascia ch’io pianga – Rinaldo (1711) * Uma das árias mais emocionantes da ópera barroca. * Melodia simples sustentada por uma harmonia profundamente expressiva. * Händel reutilizou esse tema de uma obra anterior, mostrando que uma boa melodia atravessa o tempo. Basit yapısına rağmen Barok müziğin estetiğini son derece berrak biçimde yansıttığı için özel bir yere sahip. Minuet, Barok müziğin zarafetini ve ölçülü güzelliğini birkaç dakikaya sığdıran, zamansız bir inceliktir. Açık, simetrik ve kolay takip edilebilir melodik hatlarıyla hemen dikkat çeker. Gösterişten uzak ama incelikli bir aristokrat duruş taşır. Ne Bach’taki yoğun kontrpuan ne de Vivaldi’deki dramatik hareketlilik vardır; bunun yerine netlik, sadelik ve akışkanlık ön plandadır. Eser, kısa anlatımıyla içsel bir coşku ile hafif bir hüzün arasında, ince ve dengeli bir çizgide durur. Burada paylaştığım eser Alman piyanist Wilhelm Kempff’in bir transkripsiyonu. Sol minör minuet uygulaması ona ait. 1927’de Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün davetiyle Ankara Halkevi’nde bir konser de vermişti. 🇬🇧 Minuet in G minor is one of the most well-known and frequently performed short keyboard works by the German (and partly English) composer Georg Friedrich / George Frideric Handel. Despite its apparent simplicity, it holds a special place for the clarity with which it reflects the aesthetic of Baroque music. This Minuet is a timeless refinement, distilling the elegance and measured beauty of the Baroque style into just a few minutes. Its open, symmetrical and easily traceable melodic lines immediately stand out. It carries a discreet yet refined aristocratic character. There is neither Bach’s dense counterpoint nor Vivaldi’s dramatic drive; instead, clarity, simplicity and flow come to the fore. With its concise form, the piece delicately balances between an inner sense of joy and a gentle touch of melancholy. #baroque #music #handel
