🪜 Steps to Setup Your Own Home Server:
1. Plug a pendrive/Hard Drive into your router’s USB port
2. Open `192.168.0.1` or `192.168.1.1` in browser
3. Login (Username/Password usually written behind router)
4. Find USB/SMB/FTP settings → Enable sharing
5. Set a username & password for access
NOTE : Kisi Kisi Router Me USB Port Hota hai, But usme ye feature kaam nhi krta
📂 To Access on Devices
- Windows PC:
File Explorer ke search bar me likhna `smb://192.168.0.1` ya fir Network me jaoge to bhi dikhega
- Android: Use CX File Explorer or VLC App
➡️ App open karo → Network tab pe jao
➡️ Tap on “New Location” → Select SMB
➡️ Enter this address: 192.168.0.1 (ya 192.168.1.1)
➡️ Username & Password dalna hai (jo router settings me diya tha)
➡️ Bas! Ab aapko pendrive ke folders dikh jayenge
- TV: Use VLC Media Player
💻 To Turn Your Windows PC into a Server
- Right click on a folder that you want to share → Properties → Sharing tab
- Enable Advanced Sharing
- Set permissions & name and done
