In tiny town of Cormorant, Minnesota, population barely 1,000, politics took an unusual turn in 2014.
During the town’s annual festival, locals decided to hold a lighthearted election for mayor. Instead of nominating people, someone scribbled down the name of a shaggy Great Pyrenees dog named Duke.
