Winter Reads for Adults 2026

❄Winter Reads 2026 invites adults to get cozy and enjoy a season of great books at Stillwater Public Library. Running through February, Winter Reads for Adults makes winter reading even more rewarding with fun prizes, creative programs, and chances to win.
🏆When you submit your first book review, you’ll receive a participation prize while supplies last. This year’s prizes include book-themed candles, library due date card–themed zipper pouches, reading themed note books, and Winter Reads cozy ear warmers or card decks. Readers are encouraged to submit their first review early for the best selection of prizes.
📚Submitting reviews is easy. Sign up online through Beanstack, which you access from our website (in bio). Or, stop by the library for assistance. Book reviews can be submitted online or in person, and every review after your first earns you an entry into the end-of-February prize drawing. Ten lucky participants will win a library-themed book bundle, neatly packed in a Stillwater Public Library Foundation tote.
🛍In addition to the reading challenge, participants can explore Winter Read Bags, which have curated sets of librarian-selected books. Pick up free Take & Make Kits, and attend a variety of winter programs offered throughout the season.

BOWinter has reared its head again in MN, giving us the chance to finish up some last snowy favorites before spring melts it all away! I remember reading SNOWFLAKE BENTLEY in second grade and checking out CHARLIE NEEDS A CLOAK from the library (a lesser-known gem from @tomiedepaolaa !)
