Yes !!! IVF is tough.....daily injections💉, regular blood tests🩸, and the stress of timing⏰️ everything perfectly. Earlier, many women had to depend on someone else to give injections every single day.😵‍💫 But today, with self-injections and thin, painless needles, treatment has become much easier. 😇 You can take your injections on your own, continue going to work👩‍💼, stay active, and live almost normally during IVF. 🏊‍♀️ You don’t have to put your whole life on hold anymore.🛌 IVF hasn’t become easy!!!but it has become easier.☺️ You don’t need to pause your life for IVF anymore.🤩 Yes, IVF is tough....But so am I🫡 #FertilityJourney #fertilityawareness #fertilitydoctors #ivfjourney #fertilitystruggles

Here’s the IVF Process Step-by-Step. SAVE THIS POST for later! Step 1: Call the office on day 1 of your period (the first day of full flow). Step 2: Come into the office on cycle day 2 or 3 for a baseline ultrasound and blood work to make sure you’re ready to start stimulation. Step 3: Start IVF medications and take them for 10-12 days on average to make the eggs grow. Step 4: Once the eggs are ready, take your trigger shot. This medication helps trigger ovulation and prepare the eggs for retrieval. Step 5: Do the egg retrieval 2 days later, which is a procedure to collect the eggs. It’s a quick procedure that takes about 10 minutes to perform. It’s done under general anesthesia so you’re asleep and comfortable and it’s done transvaginally, which means you won’t have any incisions or cuts. Once the eggs are collected, they can be frozen as eggs or they can be combined with sperm to make embryos. And that’s it! The IVF stimulation process takes 12-14 days on average from start to finish. That’s less than 2 weeks! What questions do you have? Click the link in our bio to learn more about your options! 🤗 Ever wonder how IVF actually works? Here’s a breakdown of the process... 👇 IVF, or In Vitro Fertilization, is a type of assisted reproductive technology where an egg and sperm are combined outside the body, in a lab, to help increase the chances of pregnancy. While every journey is different, the general steps may include stimulating the ovaries with medication to develop multiple eggs, retrieving the mature eggs through a minor procedure, fertilizing the eggs with sperm in a carefully monitored lab environment, and transferring one or more developed embryos into the uterus. From there, many factors like timing, health, and a little bit of science-meets-hope can influence what happens next. It’s a deeply personal process, filled with emotions, decisions, and quiet strength. If you’re in this chapter right now, just know... we see you, and you’re not alone. #IVFJourney #FertilityAwareness #Surrogacy #EggRetrieval #EmbryoTransfer #hope #globalfertility #Surrogate #surrogatejourney

Egg Pick-Up (Egg Retrieval) is the second step of IVF, after ovarian stimulation with Injections. 🩼Procedure : This is the only step that requires a short admission. Since this could procedure can be painful, in India, we do it under mild sedation or anesthesia. Doctors in many other countries do it only under local anaesthesia. A needle is used to retrieve the eggs from the ovaries, via a vaginal scan probe. 🕰️Duration: The procedure takes about 20-30 minutes. 🛌Recovery: Patients are observed for a few hours post-procedure for recovery from sedation. Minimal rest is required afterwards, and normal activities can typically resume the next day. While egg pick-up is the only step that necessitates a short hospital stay, the rest of the IVF process does not require bedrest. Patients can maintain their usual routines with minimal disruption, ensuring a balanced approach to treatment and daily life. Got more questions on steps of IVF. Comment below or drop a DM. @ashley_otapes
In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a fertility treatment where an egg is fertilized by sperm in a lab, and then the fertilized egg (embryo) is transferred to a woman's uterus to establish a pregnancy. It's a type of assisted reproductive technology (ART) that can help individuals or couples conceive when natural conception is difficult or impossible. Here's a more detailed explanation: In vitro: This Latin term means "in glass" and refers to the process occurring outside the body in a laboratory setting. Fertilization: This refers to the process where a sperm cell and an egg cell fuse together, forming a fertilized egg (zygote). IVF Process: Mature eggs are collected from the ovaries. Sperm is combined with the eggs in a laboratory dish, where fertilization occurs. The fertilized egg develops into an embryo. The embryo is then transferred to the woman's uterus, where it may implant and lead to a pregnancy. #IVF #everyone #truestory #Shocking #everyonefollowers #amazing

when I was going through IVF everyone else was asking me, “when do you start shots?” or “when do you have surgery?” and I get it, it’s definitely an experience to do your own injections at home or to have a surgery in this process. but the hardest part by far is the waiting. waiting to start. waiting for results. waiting to see what grew. waiting to see how many made it. and even before starting any fertility treatment, the waiting is the absolute hardest part. wherever you are in your waiting process, I get it. I know how it feels. you are not alone in this. my only advice on this one, is to find ways that are fun/easy/feel good to pass the waiting time 🫶🏼🫶🏼 #niaw #ivfjourney #infertility

15 eggs retrieved → 1 embryo transferred Here’s why egg numbers keep reducing in IVF IVF often starts with hopeful numbers. But with every stage, the count naturally goes down. This drop is expected biology, not bad news. Let’s break it down simply 👇 🥚 Stage 1: Eggs Retrieved – 15 Doctors may retrieve many eggs, but not all are usable. 👉 Some eggs are immature 👉 Some are poor quality 📉 Number reduces here first 🧬 Stage 2: Mature Eggs – 10 Only mature eggs can be fertilised. That means: 15 retrieved → around 10 mature eggs 📉 Another natural drop 🔬 Stage 3: Fertilised Eggs – 6 Even healthy eggs don’t always fertilise. Reasons: • Egg–sperm compatibility • Chromosomal issues • Lab survival 10 mature eggs → 6 fertilised embryos 📉 This is very common 🌱 Stage 4: Growing Embryos – 3 Embryos grow for 3–5 days. During this time: • Some stop growing • Some grow unevenly 6 fertilised → 3 developing embryos 📉 Your body’s natural selection at work ✨ Stage 5: Transfer-ready Embryo – 1 Embryologists choose the embryo with: • Best structure • Strong cell division • Highest implantation potential 3 embryos → 1 embryo transferred 📉 Quality over quantity What this means • Egg reduction is normal at every stage • IVF is designed to filter, not fail • One strong embryo is enough to get pregnant 🌸 Gentle reminder If your numbers dropped, Your body didn’t fail. Your journey didn’t fail. It simply followed science and biology. Save this for clarity Share this to support someone on IVF

After embryo transfer, some early signs can gently hint that your IVF cycle may be successful.🙋🏻‍♀️ Let’s understand them✌️ ☑️Increased urination If you notice frequent bathroom visits or the urge to urinate more often,it can be due to pregnancy hormones activating the kidneys early on. ☑️Mood swings Feeling emotional, irritated, teary, or suddenly low? Early pregnancy hormones can cause quick mood changes - and this is very common. ☑️Light spotting between Day 7-10 A small amount of pink or light brown spotting about a week after transfer can be implantation bleeding - a strong early pregnancy sign ☑️Mild lower abdominal cramps A light pulling or period-like cramping sensation that can happen when the embryo is settling inside the uterus. This is usually normal. ☑️Sudden tiredness or excessive sleepiness Feeling unusually tired, heavy, or sleepy all day? Early hormonal shifts can cause fatigue even before a pregnancy test turns positive. 🤍IMPORTANT NOTE: If you feel one or more of these signs, chances may be strong but even if you feel NONE, pregnancy is stil possible😊 Every body responds differently after embryo transfer. The most important thing? Stay relaxed, stress-free, and follow your doctor’s advice until the blood test👍🏻✅ #doctorsherpa #gynaecologist #ivf #embryotransfer #mythvsfact
