This is Whipped Honey Coffee; a creamy, sweet coffee mixture served over vanilla ice cream.
- Whisk 150g runny honey with an electric whisk until thickened (around 5 minutes)
- Add 20g good quality instant coffee and 50ml hot water. Whisk for a further 5-10 minutes until thickened
- Optional - add dark chocolate shavings

I was so caught off guard, I didn’t even know what to say 🙈
Comparison is kind of built into this sport, but if you can’t put that whole comparison thing aside, I really don’t recommend starting figure skating at 25+.
Because your progress is going to be slower compared to little kids or someone who started at 15. Especially if, like me, you don’t have any sports background at all. Schedules don’t always line up. It gets hard to keep going consistently, etc. etc.
I say I started 7 years ago, but in the first few years I came so rarely and made so little progress. Learning to be consistent is at least as important as learning the moves.
Best practice is to compare ourselves only to our old selves 😇
