Deine Nachrichten sind nicht mehr vollständig privat.
❗ Der Grund:
Bisher konnten nur du und die andere Person eure Nachrichten lesen.
Jetzt können sie theoretisch von Instagram verarbeitet werden (z. B. für Moderation oder Systeme). 
Es geht also nicht darum, dass jemand aktiv deine Chats liest.
Sondern darum, dass deine DMs kein geschützter Raum mehr sind.
➡️ Was du wissen musst
• Die Änderung gilt ab dem 8. Mai 2026 für alle Nutzer
• Ende-zu-End-Verschlüsselung wird komplett entfernt
• Instagram kann Inhalte technisch verarbeiten (z. B. für Sicherheit oder Systeme)
• Viele haben die Funktion vorher ohnehin nie genutzt
🚨 Mache DAS:
1️⃣ Teile keine sensiblen Informationen mehr über Instagram DMs
2️⃣ Behandle DMs wie eine öffentliche Plattform-Kommunikation

We’ve all done it. You see something you love and you save it fulllly intending to come back to it.
…and then it disappears into your saved folder forever 😅
Because who actually goes back and scrolls through their saved folder? 👀
Here’s what to do instead: share it to yourself!
You can share any reel or post directly to your own DMs. It lands as an message from yourself at the top of your DMs, which means you actually get reminded to look at it.
A nice little bonus is that sharing is also so much better for the creator whose post you shared.
The algorithm values shares far more heavily than saves, so every time you share someone’s post instead of saving it, you’re helping their content reach more people 👏🏼
It costs you nothing and it genuinely makes a difference 🙃
👀 Now here’s my personal trick:
If you have multiple accounts, create a DM group with those accounts.
I created a group DM between my personal account, SydneyGuide and this account.
Every time I share something into that group, I get reminded about it every single time I switch accounts, because there’s an unread message sitting in my inbox waiting for me.
I don’t know if you’re anything like me, but I come across so many great ideas and reels I want to put my own spin on, and then I completely forget about them because my brain is running a million tabs at once 😅
This little system has changed that entirely.
You can also use a dedicated group chat just for reel ideas. Or inspiration. Whatever works for you.
Creating one takes about ten seconds:
👉🏼 go to your DMs
👉🏼 tap the icon in the top right corner
👉🏼 create a new group chat and add whoever you want.
That’s it!
Give it a try - you’ll wonder why you didn’t do this sooner 🤗
