STThe Parents’ Bathroom is as a quiet extension of the bedroom - understated, layered, and deeply considered ❤️
The flooring is where the detailing begins.
Small square marble inlays are carefully introduced into the stone surface, creating a subtle pattern that adds grip, rhythm, and visual depth without disturbing the calmness of the space.
We began by laying grey marble across the entire floor — a calm, neutral base to build on.
Once that was in place, black marble was cut into precise 2” × 2” squares. Each square was carefully marked on the already-laid grey marble, approved, and then scooped out by hand.
The black marble inserts were fixed one by one, patiently placed into each recess using adhesive. No rush. Every piece needed to sit just right.
Before moving ahead, we let water sit on the floor for a couple of days — taking the time to test, observe, and be certain there was no seepage.
Only after that did we polish the flooring.
The result is a bathroom that feels crafted, serene, tactile, and designed to age gracefully with time. ❤️
