The transition between these stages is short, and mistakes lead directly into deep leg entanglements or back takes. Understanding the primary attack from K guard: Splitting the legs from the backside to enter BS 50/50 or matrix. The two requirements for this entry: 1. The secondary leg must be free 2. The space between the legs must be exposed If either is denied, the entry is denied. Here, Lucas is able to free his secondary leg, but Jozef Chen commits to the hip, removing the angle and space required for the backside entry.
