I dealt with imposter syndrome for years and constantly questioning if I was smart enough. And yesterday, I found out I’ll be a keynote speaker at Social Media Marketing World in April. I am honored beyond words and I’m just so grateful that i love what i do much much that my love for what I do didn’t let me quit when I felt small, unseen, or unsure. If you’re in the season of “one day, maybe,” I promise…the quiet + messy years count. The underpaid years count. AND the doubting-yourself years count. On January 6, 2021, Harry was one of the brave officers who protected the country as a mob of racist insurrectionists attacked the Capitol in an attempt to overturn the presidential election. Officer Dunn protected the country from the insurrection as he experienced physical attacks and racial epithets from those storming the Capitol building. In recognition for Officer Dunn’s role in protecting the U.S. Capitol, President Joe Biden awarded him the Presidential Citizens Medal. The medal is the second-highest award a civilian can get and is given by the president to “U.S. citizens who have performed exemplary deeds of service for their country or their fellow citizens.” Harry is running for Congress in Maryland’s 5th District.
