And y’all… Genesis is OBSESSED with the sea animal read to me books 🥹🐬🐋 being able to hear the stories while seeing all his favorite ocean animals keeps him so locked in. I love that they’re actually learning, hearing new words, and enjoying books while they eat instead of just watching random stuff. It just makes our mornings feel calmer and more intentional. GET RID OF /UH/ ➡️If we are teaching letter sounds with the added /UH/, sounding out words in reading gets trickier to BLEND and words get harder to SPELL. ‼️Letter sounds need to be CLEAR & CONCISE. 🌟A easy sound identification game is pointing to objects and saying “what’s the first sound in ___?” ^if they are sliding into the habit of adding the /UH/, help them hear it in words you break apart the sounds to! (Ex.
