MONobody has to know 🤫. Looks and feels just like kinetic sand but way less expensive and homemade 😜. Coolest part is that it’s taste safe! No actual sand in it 🥳.
👉🏼YOU’LL NEED:
-1 cup baking soda
-1/2 cup sugar
-1/2 cup corn starch
-1 tbsp cream of tartar
-1/4 cup water
-Food coloring
-Medium bowl
-Whisk
👉🏼INSTRUCTIONS:
1️⃣Pour the baking soda, sugar, corn starch and cream of tartar into a bowl. Mix well with a whisk.
2️⃣Add a bunch of drops of food coloring to 1/4 cup water
3️⃣Add 2 tbsp of water to the mixture and mix using a whisk.
4️⃣If it’s too dry, add 1 tbsp of water at a time (up to 4tbsp total) and mix well using the whisk. You should have a fluffy texture that clumps together but separates just like sand.
💡Storage: Place in a zip close bag or air tight container with no air inside. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 year.
