One of LA’s BEST waterfalls 👇 ✅ Follow @peterowenfilms for more LA Hikes! Sturtevant Falls is one of the greenest escapes in all of Southern California. Tucked in the Chantry Flat area of the San Gabriel Mountains, this trail takes you through shaded forest, gentle creek crossings, and old historic cabins before ending at a beautiful 50 foot waterfall that feels like a hidden world just minutes from Los Angeles. The hike is about 3.3 miles round trip, rated easy to moderate. The climb back up at the end will get your heart rate up, but the rest is a relaxing walk along the creek. Parking is at Chantry Flat Trailhead and you will need an Adventure Pass. The lot fills extremely fast, so arriving early or going on a weekday is your best bet. Expect shade, flowing water especially after recent rain, dogs allowed on leash, and some of the most peaceful canyon scenery in Angeles National Forest.
