MOLexus LFA Nürburgring Edition. 4.8L naturally aspirated V10, 562 hp, 9,000 RPM redline. Yamaha’s music division helped engineer the intake and exhaust note. Every engine was hand-assembled by a single technician who signed it when it was done.
500 LFAs were built between 2010 and 2012. The Nürburgring Edition was limited to around 50 units with revised aero, stiffer suspension, BBS magnesium wheels, and faster shift times. A road-legal example ran a 7:14 at the Nordschleife in 2011.
Toyota reportedly lost money on every car sold. They built it anyway.
