Anything is worth me raising my baby myself—even half the income and a tiny house for a few years. Here’s what we gladly live without (and would choose again & again!!!): First—send this to someone who needs the permission💛 💛 No WiFi or TV. Yes, really. We miss it sometimes! But it gives us back our time, pushes us outside, and keeps screens from discipling our family. 💛 Eating out is rare—and SUPER cheap when we do. Think Taco Bell or Waffle House. 💛 No daily coffee runs. Loose-leaf tea at home bought in bulk for me. Dylan’s Diet Pepsi only when Kroger does buy-2-get-2. 💛 Almost zero subscriptions. Spotify Premium stays. We’re music peopleđŸ€ 💛 Clothes only when needed. Trends don’t move us. Thrifting does. Wants wait for birthdays or Christmas. 💛 At-home haircuts. Cheaper. Fun stories. Questionable layers. Hehehe 💛 1,000 sq ft house. Less space to fill. Smaller mortgage. More togetherness. 💛 No seasonal dĂ©cor hauls. Everything we own is collected slowly—gifted, handmade, meaningful. 💛 Low-maintenance beauty. Simple skincare. Minimal makeup. No nails, no salon visits. True femininity isn’t for sale, anyways. 💛 Bulk and homemade food. Grain sacks. Dry beans. Fresh-milled flour. Bread on the counter. Yogurt from scratch. 💛 Thrift first. Always. If we need it, we check secondhand before buying new. 💛 “Nice vs. need.” Nice is endless. Need is simple. Creativity > consumption. 💛 Hand-me-downs welcomed. Baby gear, furniture, tools—we say yes to used and well-loved. Community is there for a reason!!! FOLLOW me if this is your vibe!!!!đŸ„° This life isn’t deprivation. It’s intentional and wonderful. Life is more than things. If things are what give you joy in life, you may want to reevaluate that. #stayathomemom #sahm #frugal #singleincome #lessismore

Mindset reset đŸ€ A few years ago, I decluttered to save my mental health
and it actually worked. Cleaning got easier, my home felt calmer, and I learned a lot about the act of letting go not just physical stuff, but emotional weight too. I let go of over half our belongings. I was scared, I didn’t always know where to start, and some days I questioned everything
but I kept going. Little by little, I felt more peace. I realized how much “stuff” can hold stagnant energy, and I learned to trust the process and believe I already had enough. And then it hit me: it wasn’t only weighing me down emotionally
it was weighing me down financially too. All that stuff wasn’t just money, it was my time. Time I could’ve spent with family, or doing other things. I can always try make more money (or find a way to replace some stuff), but I can’t get my time back.it took me a while to get and think of it that way, but once it did, it made the biggest difference. So I started becoming a more intentional consumer, and news flash, it started saving me money. If you’re looking for a sign
this is your sign to be a mindful consumer and start letting go without guilt. đŸ«¶đŸ» Are you also in your intentional underconsumption era? If so, welcome here. đŸ€ Comment SIMPLE if want my free decluttering checklist #intentionalliving #declutteryourlife #lessismore #mindfulconsumer #underconsumption

STEAL MY TRICKSđŸ”„đŸ‘‡ Being the crazy-that’s been obsessed with decluttering and purging for the past five years, I know EXACTLY what it takes to live in a peaceful, clutter-free home
the kind you actually look forward to coming back to. It taught me how to be RUTHLESS with clutter—and honestly? It’s saved my sanity more times than I can count. (PSST—Comment “CLEAN” for the starter guide on how I do this in only 30 mins/day!)
and now I help busy women just like you take back their peace (&their sanity) without a ton of the fancy aesthetic, color coded bins or pinterest pressure. đŸ«Ą So here are 5 non-negotiable decluttering rules that give me an UNFAIR advantage when it comes to having a calm, clutter-free home (that takes literally minutes a day to clean!): 1. NO MAYBES. If you don’t love it or use it, it’s okay to let it go. No “someday” I’ll use this. No “but I spent money on it.” No “I should keep this.” Bless it... release it. 2. I DON’T OVERCOMPLICATE. I don’t do color-coded systems or Pinterest-perfect organizing. If it’s harder to maintain than it is to use, it doesn’t belong in my home. 3. HONESTY OVER GUILT. I don’t keep things out of guilt. If an item doesn’t make my life easier or bring me joy, it’s allowed to go 4. CUSTOM SYSTEMS ONLY. My home works for my family, my routines, and my season of life. There is no one-size-fits-all organizing method. Stop forcing a system that doesn’t work for you. It’s okay to change. 5. 30-MINUTE RULE. I do NOT do all weekend declutter-a-thons. 30 minutes and you’re done! No burnou, no “where do I even start” spiral. Just peace & baby steps. Decluttering doesn’t have to be overwhelming. With gentle, consistent habits, it actually becomes very doable. ✹😉 My guide has changed THOUSANDS of women’s homes (& sanity 😅) and YOU’RE NEXT!💕 ✅ COMMENT: “CLEAN” And I’ll send you all the details straight to you! 🎉Follow @msflomooreblog for more grace filled organization & decluttering tips! #declutteryourhome #lessismore #minimalishmom #simplifyyourlife #declutteringjourney #organizedhome #busymomlife #msflomoore #organizeyourhome #mindfuldecluttering #minimalismhome

A few years ago I found myself incredibly overwhelmed by the state of my home, so I decided to take radical responsibility I started by Decluttering which then I learned that alone wouldn’t fix it, so I set stupid simple systems and keeping this simple The goal wasn’t a perfect home, but rather a home that supports me during a busy season of life Letting go allowed me to set systems, simplify, make better consumption decisions If you’re looking for a sign to declutter, let this one be it Commen SIMPLE if you want a link with my step by step on how to declutter and live more intentionally đŸ«¶đŸ» And follow along as I build my dream life while staying within our means #clutterfree #lessismore #underconsumption #minimalistwithkids

We’re so used to all the “stuff” in our homes, we don’t even realize we don’t ever use it or even need it. Here are 5 things cluttering your home that you think you need, but actually don’t: 1. Extra sets of sheets for every bed – One on the bed, one in the wash. That’s enough. The rest just live in your linen closet rent-free. 2. Just-in-case kitchen gadgets – If you haven’t used that quesadilla maker or egg cooker in the last year, your regular pan is doing just fine. 3. Decor you don’t actually love – If you keep it just because it matches or Aunt Susan gave it to you, it’s taking up visual and emotional space. 4. Bulk toiletries you’ll never finish – Ten half-used lotions don’t equal one you actually love and use daily. 5. Sentimental clutter from every phase of your kids’ lives – You don’t need to keep everything to keep the memories. Pick a few treasures. Let the rest go. Letting go of things you think you need can feel uncomfortable at first—but it’s also incredibly freeing. When you release the excess, you make space for clarity, calm, and the things that truly serve your life right now. Remember: less stuff, more peace. #simplify #declutter #lessismore #buyssimplified #cheribuysphotography

Ever notice how homes get filled with stuff we thought we’d need but end up never using? You know all those Knick knacks and things collecting dust and taking up space? When it comes to moving, I’ve seen clients overwhelmed with things they had to give away, throw away, or spend money storing. Then they pay for storage units year after year to store stuff their kids will probably throw away. Here are nine things I’m done buying: Souvenirs: Nice to look at but just end up collecting dust. Those snow globes or shot glasses will most likely end up donated or in the trash. Trendy decor: That retro clock seemed cool, but styles change every 2-3 years. The expense of decor adds up. I keep things simple but nice. Knick-knacks: They clutter shelves and end up in the donation bin. Fake plants: They might not need water, but they sure attract dust. Throw pillows: More than a couple just means extra fluff you don’t need. You know those blankets you’ve been gifted every Christmas for years? Thin those out. Most take up space and aren’t used. Specialty kitchen gadgets: The bread maker I used once? Yep, gone. Seasonal decorations: Unless they’re the basics, I skip the extra trimmings. Sometimes a little splurge not minimal. Overly large furniture or extra furniture: It might look grand, but squeezing past isn’t a good look. Closets stuffed with clothes (and hangers): If it’s not worn in a year, it’s time to reevaluate. Sean and I try to get rid of a clothing item when we buy a new one. I’ve thinned out my shoes so they are more manageable. Why avoid these? They clutter your space, eat up time for maintenance, or cost money to store. Instead, focus on what truly adds value to your life and home. A clutter-free home not only feels better but helps potential buyers see themselves living in your space. Not to mention it makes downsizing a lot less stressful.
