TAWait for the before and after! 😱
Yamuna Ghat clean up drive and donation was a HUGE success. And it made me realise that the power of social media, when used right, can actually make a difference! 🥹
Here are the key highlights:
📌 @vrikshitfoundation did a fab job in organising equipment and managing 200 volunteers effectively!
📌 We managed to collect almost ₹3.5 lakhs through the payment link of which almost ₹40,000 was spent in arranging for the equipment
📌 A lot of it was also spent on buying 30 god quality stainless steel dustbins for the location. 16 of which are already in place. And we’re really just hoping that they aren’t stolen.
📌 All collected trash was responsibly disposed off by the municipality.
📌 You can use the QR code to donate further for more locations that Vrikshit foundation will clean regularly.
📌 We hope to do this across more locations in Delhi and other cities.
