T1Change my @freestylediabetes Libre 3 with me!
With the dexcom G6 reaching end of life soon, a few @mylifediabetescare ypsopump users have messaged me about looping with the libre!
I LOVE dexcom, having used the One, One plus, and the G7. When I moved to loop, i wanted to use the G6; however, my hospital tend to push libre 3.
I hated the libre 2 so was sceptical. But I trialled the libre 3 with the dexcom one, and found them to be very similar. If anything, the libre was more accurate!
Honestly, having used it for about a year, I have nothing bad to say about it.
💙 1hr warmup: better than 2hrs of the G6
💙 Lasts 15 days: longer than the dexcom
💙 It's tiny
💙 Readings every 1 minute
💙 Hardly ever have errors
I would definitely recommend a try with it!

ENi’ve been wearing a libre 3 plus CGM for several months to track my blood sugar because i’ve dealt with low blood sugar since i was a child. we still aren’t sure exactly what is causing my hypoglycemia. CGM’s can be expensive. i pay a $75 copay after insurance for my libre 3’s and i get two sensors, which lasts me 1 month.
my pharmacist recommended i try the dexcom g7 instead, as it may have a lower copay with my insurance. my endocrinologist gave me the g7 to try out at the same time as my libre 3 to see if it’s as accurate so i can switch to the dexcom.
s/o to @distaaybled for sharing about her journey with blood sugar issues. i probably wouldn’t have had the courage to talk to my doctor about it without her!

ENtrying the dexcom g7 out at the same time as the libre 3 plus to test the accuracy between the two.
my endocrinologist gave me the dexcom g7 to sample before having her order a prescription for it. i’ve worn the libre 3 plus for several months now. most people i’ve talked to say the libre 3 plus is more accurate than the dexcom g7.

Jasmine says that applying her CGM sensor or daily insulin injections are routine but also sacred.
