Did you know that Islam is the fastest‑growing religion inside U.S. prisons?
Every year, thousands of inmates embrace Islam, finding discipline, brotherhood, and a renewed sense of purpose. Many discover the Qur’an for the first time, learn about the story of Malcolm X, or are inspired by the character of Muslim inmates around them.
For countless men and women, Islam becomes a path to healing and a fresh start.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Indeed, Islam wipes out what came before it.” (Sahih Muslim)
And Allah promises:
“Except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds — for them Allah will replace their bad deeds with good ones.” (Qur’an 25:70)
Islam offers hope.
It offers redemption.
It offers a clean slate for anyone who turns to Allah with sincerity.

Islam promises that when someone sincerely becomes Muslim, all their past sins are erased. Not only that, but Allah replaces past sins with good deeds for those who truly repent.
"Except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds. For them, Allah will replace their bad deeds with good ones." (Quran 25:70)

One of the pillars of Islam is to pray five times a day, and this allows us to be in constant connection with God. These five prayers are not for God but for us - they keep us discipline, humble and connected to our Creator. And this is what this man in Gaza is preaching: united prayer leads to liberation!
“If we establish prayer, God will remove the occupation from us,” he says. Now imagine if we, as an ummah of 2 billion people, prostrated to God everyday. Imagine how united we would be, imagine how disciplined we would be and imagine the impact of our collective asceticism.
The beauty of Islam is that it has all the answers, and through the toughest hardships, we submit and surrender to Allah ✨
