It’s starting to be that time of year! Citrus blossoms falling all over Los Angeles like rain! Anyone else have a strange, not based in reality orange or other citrus blossom sense memory? This is from last years pomelo blossoms- many of which did not make it out of my enfleurage alive! Tomorrow I’m going to do my first distillation of orange blossom of the season- so wish me luck! It’s also worthy of note that @wildveilperfume is an expert at orange blossom enfleurage if you want to go check her out as she grows everything that goes into her perfume and her work is just stunning! This might be one of the most addictive lactonic scents I’ve ever put on my skin… 🤍 Milk Orchid by @commodity in a collaboration with the lovely @perfumerism is pure creamy indulgence. It’s a soft, coconut milk dream that melts into the skin and stays there for hours. I think what makes this fragrance truly special, however, is the unexpected warm cotton note. It just lifts the entire composition, keeping it clean, airy, and never overly milky or sour. It’s coconut forward and unapologetically so. Think silky, skin like, slightly floral coconut that feels both comforting and elevated. If coconut isn’t your thing, I’d say sample first… but if you love a creamy, enveloping vibe, this is edging towards obsession territory. The dry down is the most beautiful macadamia milk & sandalwood trail. It is soft, nutty and subtly woody… I guess the best way I can describe it is that Milk Orchid smells exactly like it looks: milky, pearlescent, soft pink luxury in a bottle! ✨ Performance Longevity: 5-6 hours on my skin Projection: soft to moderate, very intimate Sillage: delicate, skin scent aura If you love fragrances like Blanche Bête or anything lactonic and clean… this is absolutely one to experience! 🙌🏼 Save this if you’re a creamy fragrance lover 🤍 Would you wear this or is coconut a no for you? #perfumereels #fragfam #perfumeaddict #nichefragrance #commodityfragrance

Many people associate it with pot smoking hippies, but it has been used in the Far East for thousands of years, and was also all the rage in Europe during the Napoleonic era! Patchouli oil is distilled from the patchouli plant, which grows in tropical areas of Asia. We have 3 different ones, of varying strengths and character, you can read descriptions on the website. I use it in many of my best selling perfumes- Celestial Smoke, Darkwoods, Darcy, Patchouli Nirvana, Persephone, Witchfire, Wicked Mara and Wicked Herron.
