PEJust 1 meter 😬 of tweed and a bit of creative positioning 😅
Inspired by a current Fendi jacket with the most amazing “exploding effect” embellishments — love at first sight ✨
I wanted to see if I could translate the idea into a spring dress, ready for Easter.
There was a lot of puzzle-solving on the cutting table… but thankfully it worked 💪🏻
The trick is to respect the grainline as much as possible — and if you can’t everywhere, choose carefully where you don’t 🎓
As they say, you’ve got to know the rules to break them.
The bottom sleeve section (Easter egg officially planted 😆🐣), I lined with silk organza to support the beading — a little couture trick that makes all the difference, they say. It’s my first go at it so I’ll letbyou know. So lucky that I had yellow (of all colours!) scraps of 100% silk that I couldn’t bring my self to part with.💛
Now for the bling ✨

ZAMade this little DIY envelope and painted a hibiscus on it with gouache.
I don’t know why, but making things by hand always feels more honest to me. Like, you’re not just giving an object, you’re giving time, effort, and a tiny piece of your mood from that day. I loved how the paint soaked into the paper and how imperfect it looks up close — that’s kind of the best part.
Handmade things just feel warmer somehow. Maybe that’s how I say I care.

This is what balance looks like — turning your cravings into something that actually fuels you. 🤍
Recipe:
• 1 ripe banana (mashed)
• ¾ cup whole wheat flour
• ½ tsp cinnamon
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ½–¾ cup milk (adjust for batter consistency)
• 1 tsp melted ghee
Mix everything into a smooth batter.
Heat a pan with a little ghee.
Pour small pancakes, cook until bubbles form, flip and cook till golden.
Top with nut butter, fruits, or a drizzle of honey ✨
