மனோரமா 1500க்கும் மேற்பட்ட படங்களில் நடித்துள்ளார்; வடிவுக்கரசி தென்னிந்திய மொழிகளில் 350க்கும் மேற்பட்ட படங்களில் நடித்துள்ளார். இருவரும் தொலைக்காட்சியிலும் வெற்றி கண்டவர்கள்.

In 1986, during the shooting of Nambinar Keduvathillai near the sacred steps of Sabarimala, a dance sequence sparked controversy. Fines were imposed on the actresses and the Travancore Devaswom Board for granting permission.
The incident later influenced a Kerala High Court ruling regarding women’s entry to Sabarimala.
