Moorea (Bora Bora’s sister island) is arguably just as beautiful and MUCH more affordable to visit👇
I’ve found myself visiting this insanely gorgeous island every single year because I love it so much. I’ve been saying this for a while now but Moorea is such an underrated place to visit! Think Kauai vibes…but even better!
Imagine green mountains, turquoise ocean water clearer than pool water & tons of sea life. There’s nothing like swimming in Moorea’s waters, seeing humpback whales & turtles, and admiring the combination of the jungle & mountains in the background.
Tips on visiting Moorea:
✈️ you will first fly into Tahiti (PPT) airport, direct from LAX or SFO. You can get there on points with Air Tahiti Nui, Air France, United or Delta. On a budget? Look for French Bee from SFO.
⛴️ You can take either the Terevau Ferry or Aremiti Express Ferry to Moorea for much cheaper than flying. You can purchase tickets at the ferry terminal (a $20 USD taxi ride from the Tahiti airport).
