No, I didn’t start medication, but I was very close when I experienced that flare (or relapse — who knows) a few years ago. I was barely able to walk or stand on my left leg. It lasted almost 4 weeks, and it was the scariest thing to experience just 3 years after my diagnosis. I didn’t take painkillers, and I’m not sure if they would have made a difference. What I did was increased my Vitamin D supplement and rested. I had faith that this was just temporary and that I needed to take better care of myself. I did gentle exercises at home when I could, I meditated, I took Epsom salt baths, and I went to bed every night praying that the next day I would be able to walk again. That experience taught me that we are stronger than we think and that everything — all the pain and suffering — is just temporary… And that our bodies are incredible and capable of healing. 🧡 #mshope #msawareness #ms #multiplesclerosissupport #multiplesclerosis

These signs were ignored in my early 20s: 1. I was TIRED - my doctor's notes said that I had said no amount of sleep was making me feel any less tired. I was 21. 2. My brain/head felt weird. can't explain it but the fact I had MS brain damage might be why! 🥹 3. Every time I went abroad I felt funny. Heat affects MS. It became a joke that everytime I went away I would get something in my eye and couldn't get it out.. that's because nothing was there and it was MS causing weird vision. 4. LHERMITTES sign this came early. I would be showering and bend my neck and get an electric shock down my spine ⚡ and being young and in my 20s I just thought it was weird and ignored it. 5. I felt angry. low. sad. Unusual for me. 6. Brain fog - struggling to remember things or concentrate fully. #multiplesclerosis #msawareness #chronicillness #fndawareness #lifewithms

POV: your friend films her father trying the Liberty patch for the first time. This is not staged or scripted. This is a real moment caught on camera.🤯 She knows exactly what this patch could do for her nervous system. So when her father started struggling with hand tremors and walking off balance, she knew she had to let him try it. She pressed record and had no idea what was going to happen. The Liberty patch works through a patterned ridge surface like a QR code that activates the skin receptors and sends signals directly to the brain to re-synchronize the nervous system. No drugs. No chemicals. Nothing entering the body. Ever. This technology was created because of an MS patient. The founder watched his own mother struggle and spent years developing something that could support mobility, stability and balance naturally. You cannot fake what happens in this video! Share this with someone who needs to see it. 💜 👇 Comment PATCH #multiplesclerosis #tremors #MSawareness #nervoussystemhealing #naturalhealing

I’m just over it….. I mentally gave up trying to fix what I don’t even know is going on in my body. I mean I mourned the life I thought I was going to have. Thought it was gone. Was scared of what could come. Then a new Dr. comes, doesn’t really listen to what I’m saying, and says it doesn’t look like MS at all. But is also unwilling to help me solve or find what my issues are. I mean he is a neurologist. Shouldn’t he worry and try to fix the brain if it is hurting? Why would I keep doing a diet? As the Dr. said “when you have something big happen, the we will know if it’s MS or not”. Do I just treat myself like I don’t have it? Do what the Dr. says and just wait till I end up in the hospital? Or do I try to fix my body? I am obviously going to try and heal my body, but it took a lot out of me mentally, emotionally, and physically to get back to wanting to heal. Cheers to a broken medical system 🥂 #multiplesclerosis #ms #mssymptoms #autoimmunedisease #healing How many new Drs have you been referred to?
