ARIH(@taste_arih) — the new global food and beverage brand created in collaboration with BTS(@bts.bighitofficial), Paldo, and hy — officially launched across the United States on April 24th.
This isn’t a standard celebrity endorsement. BTS had direct creative input from the very beginning — their opinions shaped the brand name, product flavors, packaging design, and core concept. ARIH literally would not exist without them.

VEI know people can eat food however they want. But as a Korean, it’s not easy to sit back when I see someone not mixing Bibimbap properly before they eat. The first time my British husband tried Bibimbap (which means Mixed Rice) he wasn’t sure how to tackle it, so I had to show him. He is a pro now 😄

HUMy mom was visiting from Korea last week and finally taught me how to make yeolmu kimchi, my husband’s favorite 💚
Compared to napa cabbage kimchi, which my husband actually taught me first 😅, this one felt much easier and simpler to make. The salting is faster, the steps are lighter, and it comes together surprisingly quickly. My mom makes it Jeolla province style and it is a little different from many store bought versions, which tend to taste lighter, and more brothy.
One thing about kimchi is that everyone has their own preference when it comes to saltiness. Even though I am sharing the exact recipe we used, I recommend tasting as you go and adjusting the shrimp paste and fish sauce to your taste. My mom normally never measures when she cooks, but this time I made her use measuring spoons so I could properly record and share the recipe 😌
Watching my mom and my husband seriously discuss kimchi techniques in my kitchen was hilarious 😂 but also really special. I feel much more confident making kimchi now thanks to both of them.
And do not forget, it is perfect for easy bibimbap with a fried egg, gochujang, sesame oil, and sesame seeds 😋
💚Mom’s Easy Young Radish (Yeolmu) Kimchi
- Main
~12 stalks young radish greens
~8 stalks young napa cabbage
- Salt Soak
1 cup coarse salt
1 cup water
- Flour Paste
1 cup water
3 Tbsp flour
- Aromatics & Veggies
1/3 onion, sliced
3–4 green onions, chopped
10 cloves garlic, minced
Small piece ginger (about half a thumb), finely minced
- Seasoning
5 Tbsp gochugaru
2 Tbsp salted shrimp
4 Tbsp plum extract
4 Tbsp fish sauce
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
1. Salt
Wash greens and cabbage, trim roots, and clean well. Toss with coarse salt and sprinkle water evenly. Let sit about 1 hour until slightly softened.
2. Flour paste
Whisk flour and water in a small pot and cook until lightly thickened. Let cool.
3. Rinse
Rinse salted greens 2–3 times and gently squeeze out excess water.
4. Mix
Combine greens, aromatics, flour paste, and seasonings. Toss gently until evenly coated.
5. Ferment
Leave at room temperature a few hours or overnight, then refrigerate.
