4 TIPS PARA MEJORAR TU METABOLISMO 👏🏼 ✅ Entrenar con peso: Ya sabemos que si nos alimentamos correctamente y hacemos pesas, vamos a ganar músculo; pero sabías que entrenar pesado y hacer HIIT con implementos que creen resistencia (kettlebell, mancuernas, bandas, etc) te ayudará a elevar la hormona de crecimiento HGH (la que te hace desarrollar músculo y quemar grasa), y la noradrenalina (neurotransmisor que regula el estrés); además, te ayuda a dormir mejor, tener huesos más fuertes ufff y muchos beneficios increíbles. ✅ Comidas balanceadas: La correcta proporción de macros en tu plato va a permitir que tu salud sea óptima: evita enfermedades crónicas, retrocede el envejecimiento, baja la tasa de mortalidad y entre otras ventajas te ayuda a ganar músculo con más rapidez y bajar grasa corporal. ✅ Tiempo para divertirte: Es clave para tu salud mental darte tiempo para el entretenimiento y la diversión. Sal y comparte con tus amigos al menos una vez por semana. Tiene muchas ventajas, como bajar el estrés, potenciar la creatividad y la imaginación, y fortalecer el sistema inmune. ✅ Tomar un shake post workout: Nunca dejes de desayunar, y cuando termines de entrenar consume un shake proteico (inmediatamente después de un entrenamiento de levantamiento de pesas para reparar fibras musculares). Me encanta agregarle fresas (fibra + antioxidantes), creatina (repara y crece el músculo) y colágeno (te mantiene joven: pelo, piel, uñas y huesos). Plus it allows you to savor each bite, making meals more enjoyable/satisfying.⁠ ⁠ 2. ⏲️ Take a 60-second half-time eating intermission⁠ ⁠ This acts as a “speed bump” during your meal. Halfway through, set your fork down, take a few deep breaths, and check in with yourself.⁠ ⁠ How are you feeling? How much more do you want to eat? Te ayudará a hacer una buena digestión, reducir el colesterol, bajar ansiedad por el dulce, te va a mantener llena por más tiempo, te ayudará a mantener un peso saludable. ✔️ La vitamina D es una pro hormona deficiente en el 50% de las personas. Nos ayuda a formar huesos fuertes, acelerar el metabolismo, fortalecer el sistema inmune, mejorar el rendimiento cognitivo, etc. Por eso debemos recibir sol todos los días temprano en la mañana, por al menos 20 min. De manera adicional debemos suplementarnos (1,000-3,000 UI cada caso es diferente). ✔️ Los 3 macronutrientes: proteínas, carbohidratos (fibra) y grasas buenas deben estar presentes en todas nuestras comidas. Ejemplo: camarones, ensalada + camote y aguacate o aceite de oliva. Más importante hacerlo si quieres tener energía, llevar una vida sana y rejuvenecer. ✔️ Reduce el consumo de azúcar. El azúcar lo encuentras en bebidas y dulces convencionales, entre otros. El consumo constante de azúcar te eleva repetitivamente la insulina, lo que te podría hacer resistente a la insulina, además aumenta riesgo de obesidad, diabetes, hipertensión e incluso cáncer. ✔️ Prueba diferentes disciplinas e implementos deportivos. Esto hará que utilices otros músculos del cuerpo, y te definas más rápidamente. I’ll never forget @getfitbyrob who is my first mentor and gave me my first opportunity to work as a trainer. I couldn’t have been luckier to have a mentor with so much integrity and knowledge to help me build the right foundation as a trainer. Thank you Rob! 🙏🏽 • • Since then it’s been a journey of continuous education, and building relationships with my clients that has continued to help me shift directions to figure out what’s next. My clients have helped me become who I am as a trainer and to find my passion of how I show love and support on their health and wellness journey. • • The past couple years have been some of my favorite moments because I’ve shifted from in-person privates, and group classes to the virtual space, on-demand workouts and pop-up events. STRETCH THOSE QUADS! ⭐️ We work our legs so hard - why wouldn’t we stretch them every day? Add a few quad stretches to your routine and continue through these progressions! Those of you with knee problems - the standing and lying quad stretch will be your go to 🙃 just make sure you tuck your hips under you! A few things to keep in mind: ▫️On all of these progressions - keep those hips in line and square & keep the hips neutral or slightly tucked forward to get into the hip flexor and quad. ▫️ Lunge + twisted reach: take that front leg outside the line of your hip to allow for space. The whole foot should be on the floor - you may need to walk your foot outwards if you find yourself on your toes. ▫️The double stag quad stretch: work your way to your hands then elbows and only go all the way to lying if your body allows! Work at it a little at a time. This one is pretty advanced. ▫️Kneeling quad stretch against the wall or box: place a mat or towel under your knee if needed for comfort. Slowly walk yourself back - you may need to be in a runners lunge before being able to push your chest up.
