PHAbsolutely over the moon with their first ever National Championship! ❤️ Phoebe was beaming and Sansa took it all in her stride! 🦄 So proud of them both! 🫶
Yesterday was definitely worth the 3.50am alarm clock and 7 hour round trip across 6 counties to compete at the @nsea_est1991 Area Eventing at @addingtonequestrian
We’d not planned or gone out to qualify this year but after winning their first ever Arena Eventing class a few weeks ago, qualifying them for the National Championships, we thought it would be a great opportunity to give it a go and see how Sansa dealt with the experience! Safe to say, Sansa wasn’t phased by any of it. Getting up early, the travel, the atmosphere, jumping indoors, she was amazing! Such a good baby for so many firsts and they jumped round a very well dressed arena eventing course, full of skinnies, pumpkin dressed fences, a woodland glade and plenty of obstacles new to them both, DOUBLE CLEAR!
Phoebe and Sansa have worked very hard over these last few weeks in preparation for this, with the amazing support of @jorimmercoaching so to finish 11th at a National Championship against schools from all over the UK, and only their 2nd ever arena eventing competition in a massively busy atmosphere, loads going on, the course commentary running all the way through the round (would have been Scrumpy’s worst nightmare!!!), we are made up! 🙌
Thank you @brunt.sophie for the loan of your beautiful @bloomfieldshorseboxes to make the journey that little bit easier and so Sansa could travel in such style!
Onwards now to a winter of Arena Eventing 🙌
