Hi there 👋🏻I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Swoon Boutique owner 🔑👗🛍️
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Alaina Chagnon. I grew up in Hopkinton and graduated in 2001, I have been teaching Kindergarten at the elementary school for the past 17 years. More recently, I have been working part-time as a fashion influencer (you can catch me there @alaina_marie.c )
I connected with @kathy3mazur (Swoon’s original owner of 10 years) through the incredibly inspiring fashion show for girlygirl P.A.R.T.S. Kathy is an Ovarian cancer survivor and reached out to me after the devastating loss of one of my best friends Julia Warren this past January. Julia was 40 years young and a fellow HHS graduate.
I have always dreamed of owning my own store and after learning of Kathy’s plans to move to Arizona, this collaboration felt SO right 🤍🪽. Kathy and I will keep the fashion show alive. She will also stay on as a buying consultant to make sure her favorite shoppers keep the brands and styles they know and love.
I am excited to bring in some fresh faces, merchandise, and decor. I look forward to another successful year for Swoon in a town I know and LOVE 💗 Come introduce yourself when we open our doors back up tomorrow August 1st!! You can also shop our website for new arrivals!!
