BUAs March comes to a close, weโre reflecting on the conversations from our recent session in Shanghai.
What stood out was not just the topic, but the level of depth, the dialogue quickly moved beyond the surface of AI into what it actually takes to operate and scale across borders.
The evening opened with our very own Deano Delpleash as host, setting the tone and guiding the flow of the discussion.
We then heard from Lei Niu (VP, XNode ๅๆๆ ้), who shared XNodeโs perspective on supporting innovation and cross-border growth, followed by Shadwin Nimene (CEO, Business Club Shanghai (BCS)) outlining the vision behind BCS and the role we are building within this evolving ecosystem.
Zhang Xuetong of Bank of China provided valuable insight into how financial frameworks are adapting to support AI companies, particularly in relation to scaling and access to capital.
We were also joined by founders from Singapore working on production-ready AI systems across multiple industries. We appreciate the contributions from Emerging AI, CarbonCopies AI, Evov AI, Bodynetic, and Water Doctor for grounding the discussion in real-world execution.
The panel discussion focused on the practical realities of cross-border growth, including legal, operational, and market challenges that are often overlooked.
