Starting in LA on a Sunday night I made it to Phoenix but it was 3 am so the next day I started late after some tacos and a home Depot run. Didn't make it to El Paso until after that store closed. I booked a hotel in San Antonio to be near Bass Pro when I got up the next day. Then did the same thing and planned my Baton Rouge stop.
