The angel returned to Allah and said: 'You have sent me to a slave who does not wish to die!' Allah restored his eye and said: 'Return to him and tell him to put his hand on the back of an ox - for every hair that his hand covers, he will be granted one year of life.' Musa said: 'O Lord, then what?' Allah said: 'Then death.' Musa said: 'Then let it be now, but bring me near the Holy Land by a stone's throw.'" Then the Prophet ﷺ said: "If I were there, I would show you his grave beside the road, beneath a red sand hill." Sahih al-Bukhari (1339), Sahih Muslim (2372) ➡️ So the Prophet ﷺ described the area, but not the exact location. Until today, no one knows where exactly Musa (عليه السلام) is buried. ➡️ And that is not an accident. It is a deliberate act of divine protection and wisdom.... ✨ If the grave of Musa had been known, the Children of Israel would have taken it as a place of worship as they did with the graves of their prophets and righteous men. Therefore, Allah concealed it to protect them from shirk.. 🌸 The Bani Israel were a nation known for exaggeration they worshipped the calf, they asked to see Allah with their eyes, they glorified relics and symbols. 🍂 So imagine if they had found the exact grave of the Prophet who spoke directly with Allah, they might have turned that grave into a holy shrine, a place of sujood, or even worship. To protect them from that fitnah, Allah hid it forever... ➡️ And the Prophet ﷺ himself warned: "May Allah curse the Jews and Christians, for they took the graves of their prophets as places of worship." While teaching my children about the prophets today, one of them paused and asked: “But Mama… why didn’t Allah send angels instead?” I pulled her a little closer. Because some questions need more than an answer. They need gentleness. I told her… Maybe because Allah knows human beings completely. He knows how quickly we compare. How quickly we doubt. How quickly we say: “But you don’t know what it feels like to be me.” Even Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was questioned this way. The Qur’an tells us that people said: “What kind of messenger is this who eats food and walks in the markets?” (Surah Al-Furqan 25:7) And while explaining this to my child, I realized something too. If Allah had sent angels to guide us, perhaps people would have said: “You are not like us. You do not feel hunger. You do not face fear. You do not live inside temptation. You do not know how hard it is to be human.” But Allah sent prophets from among people. The Qur’an says: “And We did not send before you except men to whom We revealed…” (Surah An-Nahl 16:43) Humans guiding humans. Not because Allah needed humans to carry His message… but because we needed guidance in a form we could witness. A prophet could live among people. Speak their language. Walk their streets. Face their rejection. Show patience where others showed anger. Choose Allah where others chose pride. And maybe that is why prophethood feels like such a mercy. Allah did not send guidance from a distance. He sent it through lives. Through people who stood inside human struggle… and still showed what it means to return to Him. And maybe, when children ask why Allah sent prophets, they are not only asking about history. They are asking whether Allah understood humanity enough to guide us in a way our hearts could recognize. And He did. This was my chaos today. Sometimes children ask questions that quietly reopen our understanding of Allah’s mercy in ways we were never expecting. And maybe faith deepens not only through answers… but through the questions that bring our hearts closer to Him. . . . . . . . . . . #chaosofparenting #allah #prophetmuhammadsayings #quranictea
