How can I even forget the day when I came to PSG TECH with a freaking 22 lakhs DD along with my parents for a Mechanical Engineering seat? I still remember the people who stood against me for the decision I took in my life, because it was always said that, “Mechanical is just for guys, girls can’t survive”! I was literally the first girl to come for admissions and even the management asked me to opt for some other engineering branch. But surprisingly, on 22nd July 2019, I came for the orientation at around 8:30am just to see a bunch of girls in D Block Conference Hall. I was quite amused because I didn’t expect those many girls in a mechanical class! Time flew, I made a lot of crazy, cool friends, had lots of fun and then amidst all the fun, lockdown started. Online exams, online classes, class groups for sharing answers became the new normal. I never wanted to go to college at that time, I swear. But today, I really wish I had more time to spend with the amazing people around me. I don’t mind staying in college for more years if I have the same people with me, the same class, the same faces, and the same good old jokes. I’d love to have my people around me for a little longer.
