Roast raw pecans at 175° for about 2 hours (low & slow, don’t let them burn). 2. Let them cool completely. 3. Blend in a food processor until smooth and creamy (this takes a few minutes—be patient!). 4. Add a pinch of sea salt + any dry flavorings you love (cinnamon, maple sugar, vanilla, etc.). That’s it. Real food, no junk, just pure goodness. Tip: Skip liquid sweeteners like honey or maple syrup, they’ll mess with the texture. Save this for later!

Roast pecans Spread pecans on a baking sheet. Roast at 325°F (165°C) for 8–12 minutes, until fragrant (don’t burn). Let cool slightly. 2. Blend Add warm pecans to a food processor. Blend continuously, scraping down as needed. Texture timeline: • Chopped → sandy • Thick paste • Smooth, glossy butter ✨ (This takes 5–10 minutes, depending on your processor.) 3. INGREDIENTS Peanuts (I’ll share a link to my favorite when you comment) Salt (I’ll share a sweet savings with you on the BEST when you comment) Maple Syrup (optional) DIRECTIONS Fill food processor with nuts and process on high for a few minutes, adding salt as it mixes. Store in glass jar at room temperature for a month or two. Save this, or you’ll never see it again. Make your own Peanut Butter! This pantry staple is easier than you think and requires a few ingredients. Mostly JUST raw peanuts! Homemade peanut butter is different from store bought but it a good way! It’s creamy and has an extra peanut flavor but you get to decided how sweet you want it to be. Ingredients 3 cups of raw shelled and skinless peanuts (or use already roasted skinless peanuts). White sugar or honey to sweeten it Additional peanut oil Salt Food processor Glass jars with lids - I used my @forjars brand lids and rings! Don’t forget, use my C0de MOUNTAIN10 whenever you shop with @forjars to save on every purchase! I prefer using raw peanuts and roasting them first so the oils from the peanuts are fresh and flavorful. However, it will slow the process down because you’ll have to wait until the peanuts are roasted and cooled completely before grinding them. If using raw peanuts, roast peanuts with a little salt on a baking sheet for 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure to stir the around so they don’t burn to one side. Once roasted, removed from baking sheet and allow to cool completely. If adding white sugar, I recommend blending your sugar in a food processor to break up the granules so the peanut butter won’t have crunchy sugar crystals. I recommend adding 4 tablespoons of sugar. If adding honey, I recommend using 2 tablespoons. Once cooled, Add the peanuts to a food processor, blend until smooth, pausing to scrape down the sides of the bowl every 30 seconds or so. At the beginning, the butter will be very chunky. At this point, add sweeteners. Blend the peanuts for at least 5-10 minutes. I set my timer for 5 minutes, giving my food processor a break every minute or so to let the motor cool. You do not need to add extra oils to your peanut butter but if you want a smoother butter, I would add peanut oil or a neutral tasting oil. Only a teaspoon or two. As you blend, the butter will become very smooth. Transfer to a jar and seal with a lid. I keep mine in the fridge until it’s all gone, which doesn’t take longer than two weeks. #recipes #fromscratchcooking #homemadepeanutbutter #fyp #canningandpreserving

Simple Homemade Peanut Butter • 2–3 cups organic peanuts (salted or unsalted), skins removed • Optional: 1/2–1 tsp mineral-rich salt (if using unsalted) Blend in a high-speed blender or food processor for 3–5 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed, until smooth and creamy. It will go from crumbly → thick → glossy. Store in a glass jar at room temp for a few days or refrigerate for longer freshness. Mixed Nut Butter Ingredients: Raw Unsalted Nuts*: I used Pecans, Brazil Nuts, Cashews, Walnuts, Pistachios, Almonds, and Hazelnuts (Use all of the above or a different combination of your choosing) : Enough to fill a 18" x 26" (half) sized sheet pan 1/2 - 3/4 tsp fine sea salt (to taste) 2 tsp honey 2-4 tsp Water Instructions: Preheat oven to 325 Place your nuts on a parchment lined sheet pan and toast for 20-25 minutes until lightly toasted and fragrant. Cool 5 minutes. Transfer to food processor fitted with the "s" blade and process 5 minutes, scraping down the sides every minute or so. Let the food processor cool down for 10 minutes. Process another 5 minutes. Scrape down the sides and process for 2-10 more minutes (taking breaks so your processor motor doesn't overheat if needed) until the nuts are completely smooth. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 2 tsp honey. Check consistency of nut butter. If it's very runny add water while the food processor is running. Start with 1 tsp and then add 1/2 tsp at a time until the consistency is just a bit runnier than you'd like. It will thicken up a little as it cools. (I needed to add 3 tsp, you may need to add more or less depending on your nuts) Taste and add more salt if needed, running processor for 30 seconds to mix it in. Store in the refrigerator Yield: about 4 cups *NOTE: All nuts should be raw and unsalted besides the hazelnuts which are hard to find raw (they are already lightly roasted but you should toast them with the other nuts as per recipe instructions)

Make this yourself!!! Full recipe 👇🏾 Homemade Peanut Butter * 3 cups dry roasted & nsalted peanuts * Sea salt, to taste * Preheat oven at 410 degrees. Add Peanuts to a sheet pan and roast for 7-8 minutes until natural oil release. * Place the peanuts in a medium food processor.* Process until very smooth, stopping every 30 seconds to 1 minute to scape down the sides of the bowl, as necessary, and to give the food processor’s motor a break. The mixture will be chunky at first. Then, it’ll thicken into a ball, and finally, it will become creamy and smooth. The whole process should take about 8 to 10 minutes. Peanut Butter Whipped Cream Ingredients * 1 cup heavy cream * 2 Tbsp peanut butter * 2 Tbsp powdered sugar * Place a mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 15 minutes. * Remove the bowl from the freezer. Add the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and peanut butter, beat with an electric mixer for 4-7 minutes, or until it’s scoop-able with a spoon and holds its shape Peanut Butter Pancakes INGREDIENTS * 1 cup flour * 2 tsp baking powder * 1/2 tsp salt * 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter * 2 1/2 Tbsp sugar * 2 Tbsp vegetable oil * 1 egg * 1 cup milk * In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt. * In another bowl mix together peanut butter, sugar and oil until smooth * Add in egg and milk. * Pour milk mixture into flour mixture and stir until blended. Do not overmix. * Grease griddle and heat. * Pour batter onto griddle and cook until bubbles appear on the surface and then flip. Just like I always say, this isn’t about making everything from scratch all the time. It’s about knowing how, in case you ever need or want to. Some seasons you’ll make things like this, some seasons you won’t, and both are totally okay. Having the option matters. This is a perfect easy recipe to replace your store bought peanut butter. Homemade peanut butter can be better because you control exactly what goes into it. There’s no seed oils or no refined sugars, just one real ingredient you recognize. Peanut butter is one of the easiest kitchen staples you can start making at home today. Or really any nut butter! Ingredients: -3 cups roasted or raw peanuts -optional add a pinch of sea salt Directions: -Place 3 cups of peanuts in the bowl of a food processor. -Turn on the food processor and blend continuously. The peanuts will go through stages. Starting as crumbs, then turning into a thick paste, and finally becoming smooth and creamy. This process usually takes 4–5 minutes. Stop and scrape down the sides as needed for an even texture. -Transfer the peanut butter to an airtight jar. Store at room temperature for up to 1–2 weeks or in the fridge for longer freshness.
