QUNASA's Mars Perseverance Rover mission has been a resounding success, with the rover achieving numerous milestones since its landing on February 18, 2021. The mission's primary objective is to search for signs of ancient microbial life on Mars, and the rover has already made some groundbreaking discoveries.
One of the most significant findings is the discovery of pure sulfur crystals on Mars, which is a first for Martian exploration. The rover has also detected diverse organic-mineral associations in Jezero Crater, suggesting that the area may have been habitable in the past.
