I’m the kind of person who usually lives in a T-shirt and sweatpants, but today for the first time in ages, I tied a necktie for a very special reason: I’ve successfully defended my PhD! . It all started in 2020, when lockdowns shut down gyms and put my seminars on hold. With unexpected free time, I started getting a wave of positive feedback on my new online program - “Snatch MasterClass” a self‑paced snatch guide for beginners. I realized this was the moment to turn years of experience into academic research, and the e‑book became the backbone of my dissertation. . Fast‑forward five years to earlier this week: “Programming of Training Sessions for Learning Weightlifting Techniques by Athletes with Different Levels of Physical Development” is now officially defended. . Behind the formal title is hands‑on experience from nearly 300 seminars, online challenges, and remote‑coaching sessions. Huge thanks to the people who made this possible: - Professor Valentyn Oleshko for research supervision; - Sergii Putsov @putsoff for advice and belief in the idea; and, of course, my family for never letting me quit. . I believe our work will benefit amateur and elite weightlifting. Onward!

It always astounds me and is so aggressive …. all over baby sleep …. It’s bonkers 🤷‍♀️ When did a happy, healthy, sleeping baby become such a taboo? I completely understand that some parents will have a different parenting style to me BUT this is my page, my opinion and you don’t have to follow my advice! I am a qualified nanny with over twenty years of experience who has cared for over 100 babies - I have a lot of experience, I haven’t just read what should work from a textbook. I believe that teaching our babies to have healthy sleep is really important for their mental well being and physical development - and I really enjoy helping parents who want the same for their little ones. The people who troll me and make reels about me clearly don’t agree with me at all, and that is FINE - but I don’t understand the need to flood my posts and inbox - just go and do your thing the way you want to!! I completely DISAGREE with a lot of sleep advice I see on here but I would never, EVER dream of being nasty or commenting - I simply roll my eyes and swipe past!!!! But I really do wonder why a baby who sleeps well is now such a rarity, remember the phrase “sleeping like a baby”?! Something has changed in our society where it’s not the norm for babies to be taught to sleep well and I would LOVE to change this. I will continue to give the advise that I believe in And let’s hope the people who want to join me do, and those who have a different option go an find their tribe 🤞 💤 💤 💤 #nannylouenna #babysleep #trolls

👶🏼 Did you know a baby’s airway is about the size of the opening of a straw? That’s tiny! This is why proper installation and harnessing matter so much for our littlest passengers. Of course it’s about crash protection, but it’s also to keep babies breathing. Newborns don’t yet have the neck control or physical development to lift their heads should they be in an unsafe position. Scary, I know! If you notice your baby’s chin falling straight down toward their chest, their airway could be compromised. Take your own deep breaths—this just means something is likely incorrect with your installation or harnessing. Take some time to reassess: ➡️ Installation and proper recline ➡️ Harness fit adjustments ➡️ Harness tightness ➡️ There are no aftermarket products added We have tons of free resources to teach you how to do all these properly to best protect your baby. Comment: INFANTSEAT to get a direct link to them. And pinky promise that you will always keep your baby fully and tightly buckled in its car seat, whether it is in or out of the car! Helpful? Please share! #sitsgallery

Should you reclass? Typically…. YES… but not just for basketball. Reclassing isn’t about cheating the system or trying to play down. It’s about giving young athletes the time, space, and environment to grow the right way.
When you’re older in the school system, you gain real long-term advantages:
• Confidence & presence
• Social and emotional maturity
• Physical development & readiness
• Better academic foundation
• A smoother transition into high school And just to be crystal clear — this does NOT mean playing against younger kids in tournaments.
At HoopStudy, we don’t believe in that.
Play your age. Develop your grade. That’s the formula. This mindset is exactly why we built @hoopstudyprep a system designed to help players grow as athletes and as humans.
If done the right way, reclassing can change a young athlete’s confidence, trajectory, and long-term growth. More kids would thrive if they reclassed with intention, structure, and the right environment behind them.

Is your husband annoying you today?! Well, some studies suggest women tend to reach emotional maturity around age 32, while men may continue developing into their early 40s. These studies often focus on emotional maturity rather than physical development, which typically concludes in the late teens. This explains a lot huh?! The issue isn’t laziness or lack of effort—it’s that their hands and bones are still developing. Harpreet Singh Grover explains that to strengthen these muscles for writing, children need to engage in activities like using scissors, playing with dough, or spending time outdoors. These actions help build the strength and dexterity necessary for writing, rather than simply more writing practice. 👉🏼 Rather than focusing on writing tuitions, encourage your child to play and explore. It’s through play that their physical development will support their writing abilities. Thank you to @thecuriousparent.harpreet for sharing this insightful and valuable video. ⚡ Have you ever wondered why preschoolers struggle with writing, even when they seem eager to learn? #ChildDevelopment #EarlyChildhoodEducation #WritingSkills #PreschoolLearning #HandsOnLearning #PlayToLearn #ParentingTips #HealthFirst

👶 Babies usually begin to crawl between six and ten months old, though the exact timing can vary from child to child. This milestone often comes after they have spent weeks practicing by rolling, sitting, and rocking back and forth on their hands and knees. When crawling finally begins, it opens up a new stage of independence, as babies are able to explore their surroundings in ways they could not before. For parents, it is both exciting and a little nerve wracking, since a mobile baby quickly finds places and objects that were once out of reach. The first attempts at crawling are often clumsy, with babies scooting on their stomachs or using a mix of pushing, sliding, and wiggling before they master coordinated movements. Over time, they gain strength and confidence, moving faster and farther each day. Crawling not only helps with physical development but also builds problem solving skills as babies learn to navigate obstacles and reach for what interests them. This stage is a memorable part of early growth, marking the beginning of more active exploration. (Izabell Dinov via ViralHog) #family

A Bosch study found that almost two thirds of parents of children aged 2 to 12 encourage their kids to get muddy, believing it helps with physical development and 78% feel getting dirty is a part of childhood! With the Bosch Unlimited 7 Aqua 2n1 vacuum and mop, parents don’t have to fear the tidy-up. With a powerful 2in1 vacuum and mop function, it can handle anything. 🔥The Secret Edge: Neuroplasticity's Role in Sports Success 🧠 The human brain is an incredibly adaptive organ, capable of reshaping itself throughout our lives—a phenomenon known as neuroplasticity. This ability for the brain to reorganize and form new neural connections is not just crucial in learning new skills but is also pivotal in how we adapt to diverse experiences, including sports. Neuroplasticity is most vibrant during childhood, making early exposure to a diverse spectrum of activities critical for cognitive and physical development. 👍Introducing children to a BROAD range of sports will capitalize on this peak plasticity period, leading to several key benefits: ☑️ Enhanced Learning Abilities ☑️ Greater Range of Motor Skills ☑️ Improved Social and Emotional Development ☑️ Reduced Risk of Early Burnout ☑️ Long-term Health Benefits ⚠️ Less well known is the fact that older adults can achieve motor skill acquisition and show neural plasticity similar to younger individuals, though sometimes with less proficiency. Meaning, you can, indeed teach an old dog new tricks 😉 🐶 🎓(Diekfuss et al., 2020), (Fuchs & Flügge, 2014), (Myer et al., 2011), (Boyke et al., 2008), (Leung et al., 2015). 🎓 Learn more about topics like this in the ALTIS Foundation Course. 👇Comment 👉FC 👈below, and we'll DM you the course info!

Turning Risk Into Strength with IVF and PGD We celebrate the advances in reproductive medicine that offer hope to countless families around the world. For those families that are affected by Fragile X Syndrome, one of the most significant breakthroughs has been combining both, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD).  Fragile X is an inherited genetic condition that impacts a child’s cognitive and physical development.  When the parent is a carrier of the Fragile X gene mutation, there is a risk of passing it on to their offspring. Through the process of IVF and PGD, families are now  able to screen embryos for the Fragile X mutation before implantation. Embryos without the mutation are chosen and transferred. This reduces the chances of having another child affected by the condition. This information can empower parents and give them hope for a future. Help raise awareness on Fragile X Syndrome  Share this now!
