Add small pieces of text to your illustrations so they read like real book spreads. This shows you understand pacing, composition, and how image and story work together.
3. Color Palette
Show intentional color choices! A strong palette helps set the mood, supports the story, and keeps your illustrations feeling cohesive across multiple scenes while allowing each landscape you include to feel distinct and unique.

4. Book Cover Designs
Include a few cover concepts to show you understand composition, hierarchy, and how to create an illustration that immediately draws readers in and feels like a real book on a shelf.
