REMy friend, Santa Ana Police Chief Robert Rodriguez, exemplifies the sacrifice and patriotism we honor during National Police Week. Chief Rodriguez came the U.S. as a four year old undocumented immigrant.
After serving as a marine, he returned home to protect his community as a public safety officer. Thank you for your service, Chief Rodriguez.

YEThe amount of love our department has felt this week for National Police Week is nothing short of overwhelming.
From local businesses, to community members, to family members of our team. The outpouring of support has been non stop and today was no exception.
Officers were treated to Chick Fil-A for lunch, and if that wasn't enough, McDonald's Point South delivered complimentary meal gift cards for all the officers. ( If you haven't tried their new crispy chicken strips, you might want to head down there! 😋)
We may be a little biased, but we believe our community is nothing short of AMAZING!

CODuring National Police Week, I honor the brave men and women who risk their lives to keep us safe. I remember Lt. Michael Hoosock, Officer Michael Jensen, and Deputy Cailee Campbell, who made the ultimate sacrifice for their communities. Their names, alongside others from Central New York, will always be remembered, and we will always support law enforcement and their families.

REIt’s Police Week here in D.C. and my Republican colleagues are refusing to place a plaque listing the names of all police officers who defended us and our Capitol on January 6 — 791 days after we passed the law requiring it. Those officers didn’t just defend Democrats or Republicans. They defended the principles on which this nation stands.
Placing a plaque is a simple thing, but what it represents means so much more. We are demanding that the law we passed in 2022 be implemented.

DAEarlier this week I seconded a Private Members’ Motion moved by my friend and co-chair of the Parliamentary Friends of Police, @llewobrienmp, highlighting the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of police officers who serve our communities across Australia. Their work—often unseen, always essential—keeps our neighbourhoods safe and our society strong.
I pay special tribute to Detective Leading Senior Constable Neal Thompson and Senior Constable Vadim De Waart, whose lives were tragically taken in the line of duty in Porepunkah.
This year, Police Week commences at the conclusion of the Wall to Wall - Ride for Remembrance on the 13th September, and Police Remembrance Day will be held on the 29th September, when we stop to remember those officers who paid the ultimate price in the line of duty. @afpassociation
